Conservative Campaign Scandal

January 16, 2013

Conservatives buy their way out of buying the 2006 election.

Robocall scandal. Or you could just google it, plenty of good reading out there.

National Post “So called scandal”

Toronto Sun “So called case”

In defense of what i’ve said here, not mentioned. The papers both used ‘so called’ to refer to the phrase “in and out” often used in reference to this crime not to the validity of the crime itself. But use of the phrases “so called scandal” and “so call case” don’t just undermine the naming of the crime, they undermine the crime itself. Especially as read by the average Newspaper reader who often skims an article to get the general idea. The planting of certain phrases is integral to modern day journalism gone propaganda in the mainstream.

Also not mentioned is the NDP’s $344k fine in 2010 for illegal campaign funding practices. Again, completely un-exceptable! Difference is, the NDP didn’t win. They’re also not changing our laws or dismantling our democracy. For now.

The Remi Review Episode 9

July 2, 2012

Loud, obnoxious, poignant, this is The Remi Review! Sex and Violence – oh my god! BBC News Fails. Mr Clean. Madonna. American voters gearing up to support their favourite type of state sanctioned marriages. Other issues? What?! You think America has other issues, who do you think you are?

“Sex and Violence”…Trying to drum up some google following.

Conservativism looks like Socialism…………. you heard me.

April 28, 2011

Conservatives, I am with you. Canada needs a smaller, more efficient government or we’ll all end up as wage slaves to income tax. Socialism centralizes control bringing corruption and tyranny. People dining at the public buffet grow lethargic from lack of incentives and rewards. Psychology has taught us the larger the group of people working together, the less effort each individual will give. Socialism is inefficient because you’ve got everyone pulling the same rope; none of them caring to try. (more…)

Coalition, Fear Politicians Working Together!

April 23, 2011

Canadian politicians are very predictable. Campaign time, the leaders tell us to fear the potential coalition of party’s that could form among their opponents. Following suit, those opposition leaders will deny any interest whatsoever in coalescing. So to recap: The PM tells us to fear politicians working together, and the politicians he is referring to swear they will not work together. All the leaders have promised not to work together with any of the other leaders. Excellent. Our government is about as cohesive as a preschool soccer team, except they can’t even wear the same coloured shirts!

Rock the Vote. . . .Don’t.

April 20, 2011

Tired of picking a colour and being disappointed with the results- there is another option. No I don’t mean throwing away your vote on the Green party- throw it away on no party. Reject your ballot, leave it blank. Its going to be more popular in this election than any previous election. Never before have so many people been talking about this option, many websites are dedicated to the cause.

You Can’t Vote With Your Wallet

April 3, 2010

I don’t want to vote with my wallet, I want to vote with my damn vote. Is that too much to ask in a democracy? I would like to see some big changes, can i vote for that somewhere? For me to be an actual member of this democratic tribe I need to have some sort of state legitimized ‘say’ on how we proceed. With partisan politics and government thoroughly infested with corporate influence, my opinion is completely un-registrable within the governing of this group- I am not a voting member. (more…)
