Geoengineering: Dumping Iron in the Ocean

January 16, 2013

Dumping iron in the ocean to save the environment. Its about as logical as saving the economy by bailing out the banks that have destroyed it. Or shooting yourself in the foot to train for a marathon.

January 14, 2013

Policy makers made decisions, not crank turners, and certainly not consumers. Poverty, starvation, tyranny – they make all the worst decisions. Also, Reward Points Cards. Pecksniffs! Al Green A Cappella. Canadian government buying 1 billion in bomb carrying drones!

Note. The first video required trickery. I sped it up to cram it into 1 minute. This one was short so i had space for a website at the end.

Remi Stevens Blog Goes Video!

January 27, 2012

After a long absence, something is happening.

I’d set out to do a full length documentary, but that is just too monumental a task….Besides, my skills reside in speed and efficiency. I have no relevant credentials to speak of, and i’m terrible with specifics, but i hope to bring you a wider perspective quickly and inspire further investigation. At least a dozen more of these are in the planning stages centering around money, property and wealth distribution. Hope you like it!

Captain American

October 22, 2011

About 2 weeks ago i was in the mood for an American propaganda flick, this movie did not disappoint. USA policing the world fighting evil bringing freedom and liberty to savages around the globe. Inspire young Americans to fight in today’s pointless wars by glorifying WWII. But despite popular opinion formed from movies and video games, individuals are not successful in war. You will not ‘find your identity’ in war. Your best bet to stay alive and help your fellow soldiers is to toe the line, be like everyone else and do exactly as you’re told….Ok enough ranting, as stated earlier i was in the mood for this……So now, finally, the reason why i am typing. ….Disgusted that Hitler wasn’t evil enough, the movie’s villain goes rogue and splits from the Nazi. I never got into 40’s era propaganda comics but, they’re kidding right, Hitler wasn’t a big enough villain? They actually needed to create a WWII character who is worse than Hitler. Although you can’t see it, i am shaking my head.

You Built It, You Bought It.

May 22, 2011

You’ve got a sweet tooth, you bought your favourite morsel from the corner store and carried it home. It’s got dried pineapple from South America, macadamias from Madagascar and ted nugent from Michigan…. If we ignore your own physical exertion, what’s your carbon footprint?… Zero! All you did was eat it! In no way did you force someone to refine oil into that wrapper, grow sugarcane or burn gallons of fuel shipping across oceans.

You Can’t Vote With Your Wallet

April 3, 2010

I don’t want to vote with my wallet, I want to vote with my damn vote. Is that too much to ask in a democracy? I would like to see some big changes, can i vote for that somewhere? For me to be an actual member of this democratic tribe I need to have some sort of state legitimized ‘say’ on how we proceed. With partisan politics and government thoroughly infested with corporate influence, my opinion is completely un-registrable within the governing of this group- I am not a voting member. (more…)

How to win at Globalization

May 25, 2009

The old conservative principle was to help business to better the national economy. Sure they’re a dirty oil company, but their OUR dirty oil company. Cut corporate taxes to support them, subsidies to encourage growth, ease regulations, which in turn benefits us all- like giving the ball to your fastest player. (more…)
