Yes, i did it. Enough has finally happened to my country to inspire me to participate politically beyond the voting polls, facebook groups and blogging. We all have our breaking point. Mine was an illegitimately elected %39 ‘majority’ government passing multiple freedom killing bills all at once- and telling us daily how they have the mandate of Canadians. (more…)

You Are Legally Obligated to Carry a Cell Phone

For years I’ve proudly had no cell phone. I find something very unnatural and ridiculous about it. Call it whatever the hell you like, its very odd to walk around talking to yourself holding a chunk of plastic against your head. . . . Two people talking in the cafe: “Hold that thought friend, i have something very important to take care of” promptly interrupting the conversation for 3 minutes to hold a salt shaker against her knee and sing to herself. Remi On Liberty

Should all people just be able to do whatever they like or should we all be following some set of rules? Without rules we can’t have any real ownership and we can’t enforce that people don’t hurt each other. But rules are rules; as soon as we make any we are taking away liberty. Real freedom is thereby only possible if people are perfectly suited to living amongst one another law free. (more…)
