The Remi Review Episode 18 Online Democracy

January 14, 2013

We have the tools for a real democracy online, just like facebook but means something. Vote on everything, vote all the time. Why not? Beats handing our power over to toothy liars. Also look at cigarettes and TD bank giving out fake bills! Then some Remi original music.

The Remi Review Episode 16 – Capitalism

January 14, 2013

People who save money have it stolen through tax/interest and inflation. You can’t have Capitalism without capital flowing around and a fair system of trade! This isn’t Capitalism. They’ll blame the wealthy, but tax people with retirement savings to solve the current debt problem. Does anyone actually believe the rich pay taxes anyways?!? Also Toothbrushes and Rogers Comm and a tune by Remi at the end!

The Remi Review Episode 15 – Crank Turners Part 2

January 14, 2013

Policy makers made decisions, not crank turners, and certainly not consumers. Poverty, starvation, tyranny – they make all the worst decisions. Also, Reward Points Cards. Pecksniffs! Al Green A Cappella. Canadian government buying 1 billion in bomb carrying drones!

The Remi Review Episode 3

May 21, 2012

Longest episode yet, a whole half hour! -if you can handle that much! 12hrs to do first render. 3 hours to export, 2 hours to upload, 2 hours for youtube to process it…This one had my mactop almost smoking, with need for several cool downs. Pet the cat, get a drink, back to editing. Other technical problems this time, hmmm. Spelled ‘develop’ wrong. Forgot colour correction on the far camera. Thanks to James and everyone else!….oh and the contest over when the show will stop showing. Will be updated to state that this is a weekend show filmed on Fridayish. Thanks for watching!

The Remi Review – Episode 1

May 4, 2012

Its a little crappy, kind of slow, has its moments. But an exciting start none the less. Topics will range, there will be guests. Shot, edited and designed in one day- which will only get easier. The format and performance will need some refining, but i’m really happy with how it looks. Oh and notices how well my arm works already! Dr. Theo kicks ass.

Fixing Prices and Everything Else

February 11, 2010

Planned obsolescence as an industry standard is price fixing. Its the legal, hidden equivalent to retailers jacking their prices in unison. Purchases: remember its not just the price, but how much you’re getting. Take something like dish soap. The water and container aren’t of any use to you, so lets assume when you buy a container of dish soap you are really just after a quantity of soap ingredients. (more…)

Fear of a Red Planet, the Fake Global Recession.

June 17, 2009

There is no such thing as a “global recession”. A recession occurs when a country is having a tough time for some reason. They are loosing out to other countries in the world and have to deal with less. You know, people stopped liking our bananas for a while or something and our jerk neighbour who produces mangoes is flourishing. (more…)

Blogging, how to get started and build traffic

January 5, 2009

One thing for sure about bloggering, what with the competition, new comers need a good strategy to bring people to their site. If you’ve got an audience already somewhere, use that to get going- hand out your web address at events, to clients and whatnot. Ok too obvious. But if you’re really at scratch, man, you’ve gotta use (more…)
